Unknown Gunmen Strike Again, Kill One In Delta Community

The residents of Abbi Community in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State have been thrown into mourning following the killing of one Mr. Jonathan Okolo.

The 60-year-old man, at the early hours of August 22, 2021 shot dead by yet to be identified gunmen.

The deceased was shot dead at Udu Ogbe Uku Street, Abbi, the resident community of Hon. Charles Emetulu, the member representing Ndokwa west local government at the State House of Assembly.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that the remains of late Jonathan Okolo had been deposited at St John’s Mutuary, Abbi.

Reacting, the mediator between herdsmen and farmers, Mr. Matthew Ujene expressed shock over the incident, while praying that the perpetrators would not go unpunished.

The Mediator pleaded with Government at all levels to quickly address the incessant killings and Kidnappings in Ndokwa Nation.

When contacted, the state police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe said the command is not yet provided with such information.
