The people of Utagba-Ogbe Kingdom, Kwale, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, have expressed profound appreciation to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for reaffirming his commitment to the establishment and take-off of the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale.
In a statement by the President General of Utagba-Ogbe Kingdom, Chief Godwin Ifeanyi Edeme, the community lauded the Governor’s bold step in approving the use of the General Hospital, Kwale, as the institution’s temporary take-off site, alongside other critical infrastructural support provided by the state government.
According to the statement, the gesture reflects the Governor’s visionary leadership and dedication to the twin pillars of societal growth — education and healthcare.
“The good people of Utagba-Ogbe Kingdom, Kwale, say thank you, Your Excellency, for your commitment to this noble project, which will not only transform the fortunes of Kwale but also contribute immensely to the socio-economic development of Delta State and Nigeria at large,” Chief Edeme stated.
He further prayed for the administration of Governor Oborevwori to continue recording greater milestones in service to the state and its people.
