Commissioning, President Buhari, in spite of the sufferings in the country said All Progressives Congress pride themselves for fulfilling electoral promises.

According to Buhari, “We are a Party and an Administration that pride ourselves on the fulfillment of our electoral promises to the Nigerian people, at national and sub-national levels.”

He said, “It was my pleasure to visit Kogi State yesterday, to commission several projects executed by the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello. We are a Party and an Administration that pride ourselves on the fulfillment of our electoral promises to the Nigerian people, at national and sub-national levels.

“I commissioned the Reference Hospital, Okene; new Ohinoyi’s Palace also at Okene; Ganaja Junction Flyover & Interchange at Lokoja; Model Science Secondary School, Adankolo, Lokoja; Muhammadu Buhari Square (Civic Centre), Lokoja; and a fleet of security vehicles for crime-fighting.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) Federal Government also has indelible footprints in Kogi State, including the Itakpe—Okene bypass; Obajana—Kabba concrete road, built under Presidential Executive Order 7; Itakpe—Warri railway service; and the 614km AKK gas pipeline which traverses the State.

“Very significant also is the work we have done to resolve all the legal entanglements that had bogged down the progress of the Ajaokuta Steel Complex. We inherited a long-moribund complex burdened by local and international commercial disputes, all of which we have now resolved.

“I am glad to report that as we begin to round off in office, we can genuinely say that our administration has rescued Ajaokuta from all legal disabilities, and it is now ready for concessioning to a private investor with the right profile, to put it to work for Kogi and for Nigeria,” said Mr. President.
