A One hundred and seven year old woman, Furera Abubakar and Isah Hassan have landed in prison for plucking out the eyes of one Mustapha Yunus for charm making.
Isah had the direction of the old woman to pluck out the eyes of the his victim to make an appearing and disappearing charm.

Isah Hassan committed the act on March 19, 2022 at Rimin Hamza Quarters, Tarauni Local Government Area, Kano State.
Furera Abubakar and Isah Hassan deceived Mutaspha Yunus and took him to a river side where Isah plucked out his eyes with a sharp knife.

The Culprits have been arrested by police and are standing trial.
The Kano Chief Magistrates’ Court has ordered them be remanded in a correctional centre.
They were arraigned on a two count charge, bordering on conspiracy and homicide as the case was adjourned till April 11, 2022.
The victim who was badly injured was receiving treatment at the hospital.
