The Obidient Movement, Ndokwa West Local Government Area (LGA), Delta State Chapter, has concluded arrangements to host the State Executive Council of the movement on a familiarisation visit to Kwale.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, will take place at the Door of Life Gospel Mission premises, beside Akunna Filling Station, Ogume Junction, Kwale, beginning at 9 a.m.
A statement by the Coordinator of the Ndokwa West LGA Chapter, Comr. Ossai Nice, said the occasion would provide a platform for the state leadership of the movement to interact directly with grassroots members and stakeholders.
Ossai described the event as a significant milestone in strengthening unity and coordination among members of the Obidient Movement in Delta State.
“The familiarisation visit of the Delta State Executive Council is not just a routine engagement; it is a chance for us in Ndokwa West to reaffirm our commitment to the vision of a new Nigeria, as championed by Mr. Peter Gregory Obi during the 2023 presidential election,” Ossai stated.
He urged all sons and daughters of Ndokwa West, as well as friends and supporters of Obi, to seize the opportunity by attending the event in large numbers with their supporters and followers.
According to him, the visit is expected to serve as a rallying point for the movement in Delta, boost mobilisation efforts, and consolidate its presence in local communities.
The Obidient Movement, which gained national prominence during the 2023 elections, has continued to sustain its momentum across the country through structured grassroots engagements, solidarity rallies, and advocacy for good governance.
The Delta State Executive Council’s visit to Ndokwa West is part of its wider strategy to familiarise with local chapters, foster inclusiveness, and strengthen its organisational base ahead of future political activities in the state.
