Buhari, Lawan, Others Attend APC Presidential Rally In Nasarawa

President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President Ahmad Lawan and other party executives were in Nasarawa state earlier today to participate in the APC Presidential Campaign Rally which held at the state capital, Lafia.

Shortly before the rally, President Buhari commissioned two federal projects – Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute, Federal Secretariat Complex in Bukar Sidi, along Jos Road, Lafia, and also township Road, Sadami Road, constructed by the state government.

In his brief remarks at the rally on behalf of the National Assembly members present, the Senate President expressed confidence that APC would be victorious at the forthcoming general elections.

He said: “This is a special rally. Nasarawa is a special state. Nasarawa means victory. The capital of Nasarawa state is Lafia. This is the only state that has these characteristics. Victory and peace. And that is what symbolizes APC.

“APC is victory and APC is peace. Your Excellency, this is not only a rally but a celebration of excellence. You have come here several times to this state to commission projects, projects and projects.”
