A meeting of like minds that cuts across the three Local Government Areas of Ukwuani & Ndoshimili has vowed to use the power of their voters card to bring about accelerated development and change the narratives come 2023 general elections. The meeting which held online had over 763 persons in attendance. The following issues were agreed upon:
1. To ensure that positions are rotated evenly among the three LGA’S (in case of House of Representatives),
2. Rotate Political elective positions among the various towns, clans & villages for equity and fairness.
3. Ensure that the achievements of each duly persons are documented for posterity (in this case, there should be opportunity for them to give account of their stewardship before the electorates.
4. For the Coalition to jettison and discourage BLIND support, ie, (supporting candidates blindly without putting Ukwuani & Ndoshimili nations first.
5. To avoid BLOCK votes (APGA, ADC, APC, PDP) ie, APGA ALL THE WAY, will not work. Every Candidate shall be x-rayed, weighed, discussed and agreed upon, and agreement reached, so we can educate our voters across the land accordingly in the interest of our Ukwuani & Ndoshimili people. This is the ideology & philosophy of Ukwuani and Ndoshimili first.
6. A very notable figure like Rear Admiral Mike Ojinika Onah (Rtd), has been pencilled down to chair such stewardship account occasion as is done in Isoko, Urhobo,Ijaw, etc, supported by Gen. Mike Ndubuishi ( Rtd).
7 . The last but not the least, General Mike Ndubuishi, President of NNU to give a nod for the implementation of above mentioned agreements.
Youths in various towns who are responding to the voters registration exercise insisted that this is the only way they can listen to Professor Ifeanyi Chukuma NWOSE’s team on voters mobilisation & sensitisation. They agreed to hit a number of registered voters above 15,000 in each LGA, so long as we keep our promise of making their impact felt. The exercise continues in full swing.
