Fr. Ubaka who hinted that the woman owes her husband respect, said she must not talk down on her husband or belittle him, but be accommodative bearing in mind that everything cannot be perfect.
Above all, he advised the couple to carry God along in their marriage, saying that marriage is not easy but with God, they will succeed.
He, however, urged the congregation to always pray for the couple and avoid anything that will cause problems in their marriage while reminding them that what God has joined together, no man should put asunder.
Speaking with Africa Investigative Magazine, the groom said he was elated, complete, and fulfilled being his wedding day and promised to love and cherish his wife all the days of his life.
He also advised other ‘singles’ to serve God with all their soul, and might, because God will satisfy them with the desires of their hearts.
On her part, the couple’s marriage sponsor, Mrs. Odoh Benedicta wished the celebrants the best as they commence their marital journey, advising them to love themselves and put God first in whatever they do.
