Father Arrested For Defi!ing 12-Year-Old Daughter In Anambra

A middle aged man, Mr. Arinze Obiwenite who allegedly defi!ed his 12-year-old daughter in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State, has been arrested by men of Nigeria Police Force.
Parading himself as a pastor, it was alleged that Obiwente used diabolic standards to operate a healing ministry in Abacha community, Idemili North Local Government Area.
According to the State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo, the nefarious engagement of the suspect necessitated the raiding of his home which led to the rescue of 12-year-old girl and her other siblings.
The suspect had earlier, locked up his children in the room for five years and was allegedly ‘committing the act’ with the 12-year-old and fingered the younger ones.
Upon interrogation, the suspect denied the allegations against him, saying that he married 11 wives, though, does not live with any of them at the moment.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that the incident happened a few weeks after the community’s popular festivals called, ‘Ofala’ through which the gods of the land are invoked to expose any evil doer in the community.
The commissioner, after examining the children, vowed to ensure justice and also offer them a conducive environment for growth and proper care.
When interrogated, the suspects were said to have denied all the allegations levelled against him, but pleaded with the monarch who interfered on the matter to forgive him and help find a way of resolving the issue without going to court, a plea which the monarch vehemently refused.
Some items said to have been discovered at his residence were a long list of paper with the record of the people he killed and those he will kill, a hollow grave at his backyard where he confessed to have stayed to make his incantations if need be and some native medicines which he said were also diabolic.
