Female Ritualist Lynch For Kidnapping Eight-Month Old-Baby
A suspected female ritualist (name withheld) has been set ablaze by mob who apprehended her during an alleged attempt to abduct an eight-month-old baby in the Ebute-Metta area of Lagos State.
The suspected ritualist died in the hospital after police rescued her from the angry mob and took her to the hospital.
She was hospitalised at the Federal Medical Center, Ebute-Meta because of severe burnt by the mob that caught her engaging in the illegal act.
Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that the suspect entered the private residence of a relative of the baby’s mother and pretended to be in search of her husband.
Noticing that there was no adult in the house, the deceased stole the baby and attempted to escape.
Luck ran out of her as a 11-year-old girl in company of the children, obstructed her and raised the alarm, making residents of the area apprehend her.
The suspect was heavily beaten and dragged under the bridge in the Ijora area, where the residents allegedly put her on fire before the police took her away.
