Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has equalled the Premier League’s single-season goal record after scoring his 34th goal this season in a clash with Fulham on April 30, 2023.
Haaland converted a third minute penalty at Craven Cottage to be at the same level with Alan Shearer and Andy Cole’s single-season Premier League record total.
Recall that in 1995, Shearer scored 34 goals for Blackburn as Cole had earlier scored 34 goals for Newcastle in 1994.
It could be further recalled the Manchester City head coach, Pep Guardiola had also said the club striker is of the same rating with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Guadiola gave his assessment after the Norwegian international scored two goal in match against Southampton on April 08. In the 4-1 Premier League victory at Southampton, Haaland scored via a header and what could be described as a bicycle kick.
