God May Not Answer The Prayers For Your Enemies To Die (See Reasons)

As a Christian, your thought and prayer patterns determine your relationship with Jesus Christ. Why do you pray for your enemies to die by fire and by thunder?

Research shows that 75% of people go to the Church not only to vanquish tribulations but to direct God to kill their enemies. One of the most common prayer points in the 21st century is for the enemies to fall and die.

This is a fallout on Christianity. Praying for your enemies to die is against the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Christianity comes into existence after the birth and resurrection of Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ did not pray for his enemies to die. The scripture says in John 10: 10 that the thief has come to steal, to kill, and to destroy but I have come that you may have life in abundance.

It is wrong to pray for Christ Jesus to ravage the lives He has come to save by fire. Remember He said, “the same way a lost sheep is important to the shepherd, so sinners are important to Me.”

Obviously, there are Biblical exhortations that glorify the death of enemies. Elijah, Moses, and a host of others were firebrands. Elijah was not a Christian.

Elijah wasn’t in the picture when Jesus Christ taught the new laws that gave birth to Christianity. Christians are products of Jesus Christ, not Elijah and his like.

Jesus said in Mathew 5:43-44 that although the people have been told before to hate their enemies and love their good neighbors, I tell you to love your enemies and pray for them that persecute you.

This is the way of Christ. In Luke 9:52-56, James and John asked Jesus for permission to call down fire from Heaven like Elijah to consume their enemies. But Jesus Christ rebuked them, saying they (James & John his disciples) were ignorant of the new spirit in them.

He went further to tell them that the son of man did not come to destroy lives, but he has come to save them.

In another development, 2Thessalonians 1:6 says that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to that trouble you. This means that God will repay those that did evil to you.

Further, Romans 12:19 back it up. It says God will repay evil to them that are doing evil to you. He wants to repay us because of His righteousness towards His promises to us.

If a Christian prays for enemies to die, it means the new of Christ, which is forgiveness and love has not taken place.

Jesus in 1Thessalonians 5:15 says, “none should render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves and to all men.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, of what authority do you have to seek someone’s death? Have you forgotten that you are alive by His mercies?

For we are all sinners. It is time to accept the truth about Jesus Christ, dwell away from the forces that interpret the Holy Bible in their way.

Hebrew 12:29 says He is the God of consuming fire. This is a fire that consumes sacrifices and reserves for judgment. This fire you cannot call upon because of your level of grace.
