As the drum for 2023 general elections sounds louder, a Socialite and business executive, Mr. Henry Oshasha has declared his intention to contest for House of Representatives, Ughelli North/South, Udu Federal Constituencies on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Henry Oshasha officially made the declaration on Tuesday April 05, 2022 at the palace of Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom.

The occasion was witnessed by the royal family, the council of chiefs, APC chieftains of Ward 3/7, Udu Local Government Area, Delta State, and other notable dignitaries.
Africa Investigative Magazine learned that Henry Oshasha has so long been committed to the progress of APC by working for the party as well as giving unlimited supports to candidates vying for various positions.

It was learned that he sponsored the mega rally that woke the APC Ughelli North up from slumber at the last general elections.
Responding, the Ovie of Ughelli, HRM Evang Wilson Ojakovo Oharisi III thanked the House of Reps aspirant for his quest to represent his people and prayed for the success of his election.

While assuring him of total support, Evang Ojakovo urged women to play proactive parts in politics, saying that without women, there would be no politics.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after his declaration, Mr. Oshasha said it’s time to take the bull by its horn.

He stated that it is time for him to take what belongs to him, noting that he has a distinguished quality to give Ughelli North/South, Udu Federal Constituencies a new look.
“I am here because the time has come for us to take what belongs to us. The kingdom of God suffered violence, and violence taketh it by force. I am here to take the House of Representatives, Ughelli North/South, Udu Federal Constituencies.

“I have all what it takes to take it, and I know power belongs to God. I have consulted with my God; God has given me the mantle. I am here to do it physical.
“I have been supporting, I have been working for my party. As a matter of fact, last election I did a mega rally that woke APC Ughelli North from slumber. I have always wanted to build this party. I believe that this is the right time for me come out and take it by force,” Oshasha said.
