HRM Obi Sylvester Enecheziem Receives Royal Staff In Delta

The Delta State Government has presented the King of Illah in Oshimili North Local Government Area, the Ogbeleani of Illah, HRM Obi Sylvester Enecheziem with a Staff of office.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa made the presentation on April 06, 2022 at the King’s palace, Illah, Delta State.

Okowa who was represented by the Deputy Governor of the state, Barrister Kingsley Burutu Otuaro stated that his administration is committed to strengthening the relationship between traditional rulers and government for the benefit of Deltans.

Presenting the staff, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro said that the staff has a tremendous impact on Deltans, particularly, the people of Illah.

Otuaro who commended the people of Illah for giving peace a desired place in the community, noted that development does not come to troubled communities.

He implored the people to continue with peaceful dispositions and promote the reputation of the staff by giving the His Royal Majesty the honour he deserves.

Otuaro, however, urged the sons and daughters of Illah to embrace government programmes particularly those in the agriculture sector to improve their Socio economic status.

Responding,  HRM Obi Sylvester Enecheziem thanked the state government for recognition and requested for establishment of Dennis Osadebay University Campus and a Sports Academy in Illah.
