Just In: APC Abbas Emerges House Of Rep Speaker
The members elect in the house of the representatives have elected Tajuddeen Abbas of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the speaker of the House of Representatives.
Recall that Senate Abbas is representing Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna State.
The total votes cast are 359 votes, Abass won after polling a total of 353 votes, defeating his counterparts Ahmed Idris Wase and other who secured 3 votes each.
