Oborevwori Appoints EXCOS, Members For Christian, Muslim Pilgrim Boards

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointments of persons into the boards of the State Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, State Protocol Matters, Mr Nelson Tetsola, on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government.

For the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Apostle Sylvanus Okorote was appointed Chairman and Rev. Father Christopher Ekabo Secretary while Arcbishop Godday Iboyi, and Rev. Dr. Justin Okoroji are members.

Others are Rev. Monday Madukwe, Ven. Robert Oziwele and Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Patricia Buzugbe are members.

According to the the statement, the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has Alhaji Anwalu Tukur as Chairman and Dr. Ismaila Okundaye as Secretary, while Alhaji Suleiman Jauro, Dr. Ibrahim Afolabi, Hajiya Maryam Nabiri and Garba Sam Clark are members.

It added that the date and time of their inauguration would be communicated in due course.
