The level of irresponsibilities exhibited by Nigerian governments stuffed words in our mouths. It has gone to the point that masses resorted to prayers for God’s intervention. Leaders neglecting their duties!
The masses have all cried against bad governance to no avail. Human rights activists have all tried putting one step in the front of the other to correct abnormalities in leadership, not until government has its way to corrupt the instrument standing against corruption.
Hence, bad governance no longer makes news in Nigeria. Corruption is seen as the new normal. Kidnapping and killings do not capture government and people’s attention any more as a result of consistencies.

What a country? Indeed, there was a country. Nigerian is a country – a country that its government and leaders forget their duties and astute responsibilities.
How to remain at the corridor of power is the only bell that rings in their heads. Every effort is channeled towards enriching political profile without considering the masses.
It is election that sometimes reminds the masses of the existence of some political offices that have never initiated any project.

Most of the problems in Ndokwa nation are not caused by the state government, but by leaders who could harness the available resources for the betterment of the people. 365 days in office are done and dusted.
What would Hon Obi Nzete be remembered for? What is a visible project executed By Ndokwa West LGA Chairman that even a blind person could notice?
His administration witnessed the construction of a perimeter fencing of the council secretariat.
Though, the perimeter fence project was once, awarded by one of the past administrations. A few roads were also graded. Poor leadership has, however, made people see a painting of a one-room apartment as an achievement of an elected officer.
Is his achievement enough for an officeholder who had received allocations and internal revenue? Has he come to make difference or he would abandon the people to their fate? I leave the answers on your lips.
Whether the resources of the local government council are prudently managed or not, the world is watching.
