Outrage As Davido, Chioma Loses Son

The Lagos State Police Command, on November 01, 2022, said it has arrested Davido’s eight domestic workers for interrogation over the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

According to the Command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, the the domestic workers’ testimonies would help in further investigation.

“Anyone not found culpable would be released immediately. The ones found culpable of negligence would be held back to assist the command in the ongoing investigation.

“Ifeanyi was reportedly drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State,” said the police image maker.

The said news threw the entire entertainment world into mourning as some celebrities took to their social media to express their displeasure.

Ayo Makun, who lamented that premature death is abnormal, said; “The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.”

In his reaction, Daddy Freeze, said, “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.”

Lasisi Elenu also posted, “Father heal your children’s heart from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”

Rosemary Afuwape who described the tragic incident as painfully unbearable, urged the couple to take heart.

She said, “My heart can’t take this. This is so painfully unbearable. Chioma and Davido please accept my condolences. No amount of words can comfort your hearts. I am truly sorry for your loss.”

The sad news of Ifeanyi’s death filtered on social media as of 1.28am on Tuesday, an indication that the three year old child died late Monday.

At the time of filing the report, the parents of swimming pool victim is yet to make an official statement on the death of their child.
