Security Operatives Rescue Kidnapped NSCDC Officer’s Wife

Mrs Victoria Dandaura, the wife of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, Mr Appollos Dandaura, who was kidnapped earlier, has been rescued by security forces.

NSCDC revealed this in a statement by its Director, Public Relations Office (PRO), Mr Olusola Odumosu, on November 04, 2022, at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Mr Odumosu disclosed that the kidnap victim was rescued around 9.20 p.m in Lafia Local Government Area, Nassarawa State.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that Mrs Dandaura was abducted from her home located at Gidi-Gidi area of Lafia, Nasarawa State, 7 p.m by unidentified gunmen.

“She was rescued unhurt after a successful joint operation by a combined tactical team comprising of men of NSCDC CG’SSIS, NSCDC Counter Terrorism Operatives (CTU) and NSCDC Special Female Squad (SFS).”

The rescue operation consists of the Nigerian Army, the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

The image-maker also said that one Ezekiel Dandaura, who was a younger brother to the head of the commandant general’s special intelligence squad sustained gunshot injuries during the rescue exercise.

According to him, NSCDC Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Audi, extolled the maximum support and cooperation of sister security agencies in the rescue operation.
