Anambra based Prophet and Founder of God’s Glory in Me Mission, Awka, Rev. Benjamin Meengwagwa Onyebuchi, said the glory of the South-Eastern part of the country shall rise again.
Rev Onyebuchi also described the perceived marginalisation and oppression of the Igbos in any part of the globe by political forces as a waste of precious time and resources.
Onyebuchi, who spoke with newsmen in Awka, the state capital, revealed that God had risen to wipe off the aggressions suffered by the Igbos in various parts of the country for many decades.
In his revelation, the clergy said the South-East has the support of God, and would rise to position of authority between now to 2033, noting that those committed to bringing others down will get their fare shake of the dice.
On destruction of properties and businesses belonging to the Igbos, Onyebuchi Meengwagwa Benjamin advised the Easterners to keep re-establishing their businesses, saying that God has not asked them to stop rebuilding.
Recall that several businesses, buildings and other properties belonging to the Igbos in Lagos and other parts of the states have suffered several setbacks ranging from attacks by host communities to demolitions by governments without compensations.
The prophet further urged the Igbos to keep contributing in the socio-economic and political advancement of their resident states, and at the same time, develop their home communities.
“Many people cautioned Igbos against building their houses or businesses in different part of the world because of what the people (host community) are doing to them. But, when I was praying, God said to me, to tell the Igbos to build wherever they are and also build in their villages.
Reciting Genesis 26 verses 12, the Founder of God’s Glory in Me Mission, said Abimelech and his people rose against Isaac because of his wealth and the blessings of God upon him.
He said the people were envy and subjected Isaac to unfair treatment seeing that a stranger (Isaac) has prospered more than them in their own land.
Onyebuchi Meengwagwa said, “They closed down all the wells – his resources and businesses. The wells that Isaac gets water for his livestocks. They know that the animals will not survive without water.
“So, in the modern world, the wells represent the businesses and all that. The Lord gives me this quotation to tell the Igbos that they cannot suppress them. The Igbos will continue to be greater no matter how they try to sabotage them,” he said.
“The Lord also said to me to tell them that there’s a heavenly support.”
Quoting Zechariah 2 verses 8 in the second part of his revelations, Onyebuchi said, because there’s heavenly support, God will redeem and restore the Igbos against their oppressors, adding that the entire universe shall witness the resurrection of the South East.
