Delta North Senatorial Seat Needs Fresh Thinking, Productive Leadership – Ojei

By Odili Ogochukwu

Delta State Activist and Politician, Comrade Victor Ojei, has called for a shift in leadership approach in Delta North, stressing the need for fresh thinking, accountability, and a results-driven agenda ahead of the next electoral cycle.

Ojei, also known as Wong Box Nigeria, made the assertion while reacting to recent political developments in the district, including the reported senatorial ambition of former Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.

While acknowledging the constitutional right of every citizen to contest for public office, Ojei noted that the conversation in Delta North must go beyond individual aspirations and focus on the future of the people.

“This moment is beyond personalities; it is about results, direction, and the future of Delta North. The question of who is best positioned will ultimately be decided by the people, but what is critical now is the need for a new kind of leadership,” said Ojei.

The famous Activist identified key gaps in the current political landscape, including a lack of accountability, insufficient grassroots-driven development, and overreliance on projects that, according to him, do not significantly improve the living standards of citizens.

According to Ojei, the district requires leadership that prioritizes productivity and sustainable economic growth. He advocated for policies that would focus on industrialization, job creation, and youth empowerment.

“The most suitable candidate is one who understands the people, feels their pain, and has a practical plan to create jobs, build industries, and empower youths sustainably,” he added.

Outlining his vision, Ojei pledged to champion the establishment of tech-driven and agro-based systems across all local government areas in the district. He said such initiatives would create employment opportunities and enable residents to achieve economic stability and dignity.

He urged constituents to make informed choices when the time comes, saying that the power to shape the future of Delta North lies with the electorate.

“The future of Delta North is in your hands. Choose leadership that will build, not just promise,” he stated.
