Three Siblings Found Dead In A Parked Car In Lagos

Three siblings playing inside a car parked at Owode Elede, Ikorodu, Lagos State have been found dead.

The deceased were Oliseh, Daniel and Destiny Egba. They were three, six and eight years respectively.

The kids were suspected to have suffocated as they entered a parked Hyundai Accent car with a foreign registration number BDG404CL to play.

The incident happened on June 03, 2022, and the bodies were removed from the car around 7 p.m prompt.

An eyewitness who preferredd anonymity heaped blame on their guardian, saying that the person could have locked them inside the house as their mother went to the market.

She stated that nobody knew that the children have forced their way into the parked vehicle playing inside it.

Their bodies were, however, found by a friend who visited the owner of the vehicle. The incident triggered confusion as no one could figure out what led their death.

The Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.

Hundeyin said that the police officers attached to Owode Onirin got information that three children were found dead inside a car.

The Image Maker noted that the police went to the scene and evacuated the dead bodies which had been deposited in a morgue.

He said further that security operatives have commenced investigation into the matter.
