Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, has congratulated the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mallam Mele Kyari, on his 60th birthday.
Tompolo praised Kyari’s leadership, noting that he has remarkably transformed NNPCL, putting Nigeria on the path of sustainable growth and development.
Tompolo, specially commended Kyari for his role in reviving two of Nigeria’s refineries in Warri and Port-Harcourt.
The refineries, which were previously non-functional, have been brought back to life, unlocking a total refining capacity of 117,000 barrels per day.
This development is expected to enhance Nigeria’s energy security and reduce reliance on imported refined products.
Tompolo also appreciated Kyari’s efforts in curbing crude oil theft and sabotage, which has led to a significant increase in crude oil production.
The production level has risen from 600,000 barrels per day to 1.8 million barrels per day, with prospects of reaching 2 million barrels per day.
Tompolo renewed Tantita’s commitment to partnering with NNPCL to raise crude oil production.
He praised Kyari’s innovative and driven culture, which has been instrumental in transforming NNPCL into a profitable organization.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also celebrated Kyari’s 60th birthday, commending his diligence in transforming NNPCL into a profitable organization.
The President praised Kyari’s leadership, noting that he has been instrumental in driving the country’s economic growth and development.
