Ukraine Returnees Get Counseling, Trauma Support Session
The Chairman of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has on March 20, 2022 said that the federal government would establish a counseling unit for Ukrainian returnees.
Abike Dabiri also disclosed that the government would include incentives such as counseling and trauma support.
This initiative, according to him, was encourage the returnees, and make feel the sense of belonging.

Recall that the federal government has recently evacuated Nigerian students trapped in Sumy City as well as another 301 (three hundred and one) Nigerians fleeing Ukraine as a result of the ongoing war.
Africa Investigative Magazine learned that their evacuation was in consensus with Ukrainian government.
it was verified that more than 123 Nigerians who arrived the country on Friday from Poland were received by The Head of Technology Transfer Innovative of Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), AbdurRahman Terab
They were given $100 each upon their arrival, while NIDCOM in collaboration with Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) gave each of them a free SIM loaded with N5,000 airtime.
He stated that once the SIM is activated, the N5,000 airtime would multiply to N19,500 worth of airtime.
According to AbdurRahman Terab, the gesture was aimed at helping them reach their loved ones.
“This is an additional gesture that was well received and appreciated by all the evacuees,” he concluded.
