No fewer than three persons have been reported dead following an explosion that rocked chocolate factory in Pennsylvania, United States, on March 25, 2023.
Local Officials have said that about four persons are missing, as rescuers were busier than the anthills to rescuing the survivors.
In a clip obtained Africa Investigative Magazine, Rescue Teams were seen removing rubbles following the Friday afternoon explosion at the RM Palmer Company plant in the West Reading borough of Pennsylvania which was believed to have trapped in some workers.
West Reading Fire Chief Chad Mayor, in a press conference, said the chances of victims’ survival are decreasing due to the brutality of the explosion.

“The factory is pretty levelled, unfortunately. There’s not much they can salvage from the building. In the front, with the church and the apartments, the explosion was so big it moved that building four feet forward.”
West Reading Chief of Police Wayne Holben told reporters at the press conference Saturday that “a third body was located at the RM Palmer site and has been confirmed deceased.”
“Crews are continuing their diligent efforts in sifting through the debris in order to locate any additional individuals,” Holben said.
