The campaign train of Chief Chuks Onyemulu, the Labour Party Candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Ndokwa West Constituency, has hit Emu-Uno in Ndokwa West LGA, with a prospect of development.
Onyemulu who stormed the community on February 09, 2023, was cheered by various groups of proponents reaffirming their candid support for Peter Obi and Chuks Onyemulu.
In their welcome song, the group led by Mrs. Fedelia Ossai said they remained resolute in their support for Peter Obi and Chuks Onyemulu of Labour Party, noting that the duo are distinguished personalities who understand the pains of their people.
Speaking, Chief Chuks Onyemulu, reiterated his commitment to bring good leadership to the people, saying that the pressing needs of the people and communities would be given utmost attention under his watch as a House of Assembly member.
He noted that his journey to the State House of Assembly would bring liberation to the people as electricity, good road networks, and employment would reach his constituents.
Explaining that employment opportunities for youths are one of the routes parents reap the fruits of their labour, Onyemulu said he must not rest until the suffering and hardship in Ndokwa West is wipe off completely.
On community needs, the frontline Labor Party House of Assembly Candidate assured the people that he would partner with CDCs and community leaders to drive home their demands.
Hon Onyemulu who attributed poorly executed projects in some communities by politicians who doubled as contractors, said he will allow the community people to recommend contractors and monitor the projects awarded to them to their best interest.
On his part, Chief Emmanuel Ifeajoele, the immediate past Onotu Uku of Emu Kingdom, said he was impressed to see a credible person like Chief Chuks Onyemulu contest for DTHA, Ndokwa West Constituency.
Ifeajoele who attested that Onyemulu has a verified record in areas of philanthropy, accountability, and humility, said the Labour Party candidate would do a new thing in the constituency.
While assuring Chuks Onyemulu of their total support, Ifeajoele lauded his initiative of a proposed partnership with CDCs and community leaders to address developmental issues in concerned communities.
“There is no better candidate than Chuks Onyemulu. The people of Emu Kingdom are with you. We will also vote for Peter Obi. We will vote for you, Onyemulu.
“It is Chuks Onyemulu that will bring turn around to us. He is the candidate to give us what we want just like in the days of Awolowo and the late sir Ahmadu Bello. They were the people who gave scholarships the same way Chuks giving and handling other matters perfectly,” he said.
