Security Agents Kill Bandits In Niger State

Police Public Relations Officer DSP Wasiu Abiodun made this known in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna.

According to the statement combined teams of police from Gawu-Babangida Division and Paiko Division, military, and vigilante members were drafted to the scene, the hoodlums were engaged in a gun duel and repelled with scores of them being neutralized, while others escaped with some bullet wounds.

Commissioner of Police, in charge of Niger State, Ogundele  Ayodeji, has led a reinforcement team to the scene and recovered the bodies of the deceased personnel.

He however condoles with the families of the affected persons and reassured members of the public that the Command will not relent in the fight against all forms of crime in the State.
