We Have To Be At Our Best To Cause Chelsea Problems – Zidane
The Real Madrid Manager, Zidane Zinedine has explained that Chelsea area complete team, that attack and defend well.
Zinedine Zidane spoke during a virtual press conference in the build up to Real Madrid-Chelsea.
The Real Madrid coach said that both teams are experienced in every competition but his side will have to put in good performances to get through to the final.
Zinedine Zidane noted that his side is prepared and would fight from the first minute to the last.
“It’s a semi-final and it’s going to be tough. It’s the most difficult and the most exciting game because it’s the next one we play. The Champions League is special and we’re going to approach it how a Champions League semi-final should be approached. We’ve prepared well and will be looking to put in a good performance and compete.
“I don’t think Chelsea will sit back. They’re a complete team, they attack and defend well. They’ve done their job in the Champions League and are here on merit, just like us. We have to defend well and create chances when we can to cause Chelsea some probelms.
On Possible UEFA sanction, Zinedine Zidane explained that it’s ludicrous to think that the laliga giant won’t be in the Champions League next year.
“There’s nothing else to be said. There is a lot of talk about this situation, but we have to stay focussed on tomorrow’s game. We can’t control the rest, so there’ll be a lot of talk about it. We want to see Real Madrid in the Champions League next year,” he said.

“The referee will do his job and we need to focus on playing football. If we start to think that what’s happening is going to go against us, we’re lost. We have to fight from the first to the last minute and we can’t control the rest, so we shouldn’t get involved in these things”.
While commenting on Florentino Pérez, Madrid Boss stressed that the president knows where his heart is at and that they are here to prepare for the Chelsea game.
He stated that it’s not the time to talk about the rest, adding that they are going to play in a Champions League semi-final and only thinking about it.
