The United Ndokwa For Growth And Development Association (UNFGADA) has congratulated the chairmen of the three local government areas in Ndokwa Nation on the successful completion of two years in office, while urging them to intensify efforts towards sustainable development and human capital investment.

In a press statement signed by its Chairman, Mr. Kunili Shola Friday, the association commended Hon. Obi Nzete of Ndokwa West, Hon. Vincent Osilonya of Ndokwa East, and Hon. Possible Ajede of Ukwuani Local Government Area for reaching the two-year milestone in their respective administrations.

UNFGADA described the anniversary as a significant opportunity to reflect on the achievements recorded so far and to renew commitment to providing purposeful and people-oriented governance.

The association urged the council chairmen to articulate and implement comprehensive short-term and long-term development plans capable of accelerating sustainable growth across Ndokwa communities.

According to the statement, priority attention should be given to critical sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, security, environmental sustainability, and economic development to improve the quality of life of the people.

UNFGADA also appealed to the council leaders to make human capital development a central focus during the remainder of their tenure, noting that investment in people remains the foundation of lasting development.

The association, however, identified youth empowerment, vocational and skills acquisition programmes, entrepreneurship development, women’s empowerment, quality education, and employment creation as key areas requiring sustained government attention.

“The people of Ndokwa deserve governance that not only addresses present challenges but also lays a solid foundation for future generations,” the statement said.

UNFGADA further reaffirmed its willingness to collaborate with the three local government administrations in promoting policies and programmes that would ensure the dividends of democracy reach every community across Ndokwa Nation.

The body expressed optimism that stronger partnerships between government and stakeholders would contribute significantly to the socio-economic transformation of the area.
