Mr. Okoye stated that the commission was investigating a press release disseminating fake news online since Friday claiming that the electoral body was investigating a criminal forfeiture by the presidential aspirant in collaboration with a court in the United States of America.
“We wish to start categorically that the said Press Release did not emanate from the Commission nor is it pursuing the purported course of action,” the statement said.
