Gunmen Abduct 19-Year-Old Girl, Demand N10m For Her Release

The gunmen who abducted a 19-year-old girl, Adetutu Okinbaloye, from her residence in Imoru community, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State have demanded N10 million for her release.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ondo State Police Command, SP Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the incident to newsmen on March 21, 2023, in Akure.

SP Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya said the victim was abducted after her return from a collation centre in the election that took place on March 18, 2023.

“The DPO confirmed that the monarch of the town called to inform him while at the collation centre on Saturday, that three people were attacked in their home by gunmen.

“While two of them escaped, the third person was whisked away,” he said.

A seven armed man squad broke into the victim’s home and took her away after injuring her aunt, Mrs Alaba Oga.
