WHO WILL TELL THE PRESIDENT?
By Richard Ugbeh –
The only day reserved once in a month to meet and discuss issues that concern us and the community at large is trailed always with fun to meet men and women of high sense of humor.
I the gathering of Eagles, who will Tell the president that due to the financial crunch ravaging the economy the association could not hold as usual? No thanks to the effects of the Naira redesign.
The search for Money not lost has brought many Presidents to be known, the president of Timber sellers association, President of pepper & dried fish seller, President of Ndokwa Progressive Circle and lastly President of Emefiele Ndiagbor Club of Nigeria.
All the associations enumerated above were unable to have their various meetings because of the money wahala. The President is equally affected despite the fact that the meeting is supposed to be in his place.
Agreed to that but who tells the president that we are badly affected by this policy even if it means well later on. My concern now is how to arrange what my kids will eat as they expect something when I get home.
Can we tell the president if he can assist in whatever way, like small change or better still few cups of Garri or rice? Another thought, the president may be living on Twenty thousand naira for the past week I don’t think he can assist financially.
The financial crunch is ubiquitous, no place is better though category by category that makes the difference. Last resort if possible is Trade by BARTER.
Good thinking. My president, your president all in same state of uncertainty. Well, what we are experiencing isn’t new as far our country is concerned, though something good doesn’t come so easy, better console yourself with that axiom if not die of Blood Pressure.
Be strong and face the challenges squarely after all hard time doesn’t last. The President, did you see what I saw? No customers to buy our products, associations could not hold, communities in disarray, tensions everywhere, no place to hide, you run to the river, the river will be boiling, you run to the mountains, the mountains will be melting.
The President must hear this. It is NOT OVER UNTIL IS OVER.
