Crisis: CONPA DC Exonerates Member Accused Of Fund Diversion
The leadership of Coalition of Ndokwa Peace Ambassadors (CONPA) said it has resolved the crisis bedeviling it over the yet-to-be remitted fund donated by Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly.
Recall that Africa Investigative Magazine, recently, reported that the Association was thrown apart following the N150, 000 cash donation one of its top members received on half of the association.
It was learned that CONPA members embarked on fund raising to actualize her seventh anniversary which was held on May 17, 2022, at Ukwani Local Government Area, Delta State.

Not surfacing before the members with the said amount raised eye-brows.
According to the report obtained by AFIMAG, CONPA constituted a four man panel of inquiry which was headed by Amb. Fred Okochi for necessary actions.
The panel, however, exonerated her embattled member (name withheld), from alleged diversion of fund, noting that he/she acknowledged the receipt of the fund on behalf of the association.
The body explained that the member could not carry out any transaction on his/her bank account as a result of hitches at the time of receipt.
It mandated the said member to remit the money via the association’s bank account.
