Gbagi Cripples PDP, APC, Others In Polling Unit

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Candidate, Kenneth Gbagi has emerged victorious in his polling unit at Oginibo town in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State.
He pulled the total votes of 163 beating Labour Party who had 16 votes. The Peoples Democratic Party recorded 11 votes while the All Progressives Congress has 10 votes in the Delta State Gubernatorial election held on March 18, 2023.
Speaking shortly after announcing the result at the polling unit level, Kenneth Gbagi said he would win the entire state, and would be sworn in as Delta State governor come May 29, 2023.
He stated that the people had vowed to vote out irresponsibility, criminality and misuse in governance, adding that the election is more effective than that of the presidency.
While accusing PDP and APC of snatching BVAS machines in some parts of the state, the SDP candidate noted that the election was peaceful in Oginibo because it was his hometown.
He added that grabbing of the BVAS machine and other forms of electoral atrocities perpetrated by some political parties won’t yield any result.
He said: some people are snatching ballot boxes and BVAS machines; but at the end of the day, it will not take them anywhere. The election is peaceful here is because it is my hometown.”
He, however, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the effective conduct of the election, saying that the voice of the people would be heard.
