Man Kills Brother During Fight Over N1,000

A middle aged man identified as Ibrahim Dauda, has allegedly killed his brother, Tunde, during a fight over N1,000 at their residence on Amusa Street, off Community Road, in the Obadore area of Igando, Lagos State.

The ugly incident happened on January 29, 2023.

Ibrahim and Tunde were at home when an argument on N1,000 started between them. It heated up to the point that they engaged in fisticuffs when Ibrahim rushed into the house and carried a rod.

Upon his return, Ibrahim hit his brother the rod on the forehead which made Tunde lose consciousness and fell down.

In an attempt to resuscitate the 27 year old man, people rushed him to the Igando General Hospital where doctors on duty confirmed him dead.

His corpse was evacuated and deposited to Mainland General Hospital, Yaba, for autopsy.
