The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has on March 19, 2023, uploaded 122,275 election results of the governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections held on March 18, 2023.
This comes to the heels after opposition parties and some Nigerians blasted the electoral body over its failure to upload results immediately on its Result Viewing portal during the presidential election.
Though, INEC attributed its failure to transmit the presidential results from polling units to its portal to technical issues, which it said had been corrected.
Assessments by Africa Investigative Magazine on March 19, 2023, ascertained that election results from 28 States have been uploaded.
