Motherhood Is Not Guarantee To Violate NYSC Bye-laws – Salawu

The NYSC Osun State Gender Desk Officer, Alhaja Kehinde Salawu has admonished nursing mothers and pregnant corps members in the just concluded Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 orientation exercise to be law abiding.

Salawu who gave the advice on November 24, 2022, at a lecture organized for the Corps Members, charged mothers to comply with the rules guiding the four cardinal programmes of the Scheme.

Enlightening them on the importance of the four cardinal programmes, Salawu pointed out the benefit to stay at places of Primary Assignment and consequences of absenteeism without proper permission.

She implored them to imbibe the habits of dressing properly by putting on their NYSC uniform when visiting the NYSC State Secretariat and the Local Government offices for their monthly biometrics, weekly CDS meetings or for any other official purpose.

She also stated that Corps Members using hijab should stick to the approved colour and length of hijab.
