Osinachi’s Husband To Face Full Weight Of Law As FCT Police Commences Investigation

The Nigerian Police Force, Abuja Command has confirmed the arrest of  Peter Nwachukwu, husband of the popular late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu.

Peter Nwachukwu was arrested for allegation of murder of his late wife.

There has been several allegations and concessions against the late famous singer’s husband ranging from domestic violence, brutality, among others over the Osinachi’s death.

Some of the allegations were confirmed by late Osinachi’s older sister that Mr Peter Nwachukwu was brutual and the gospel singer died of a domestic violence.

She said, “Peter beat my sister severely upon slight provocation, and a few days before she died,  he kicked her on the chest. This was why she was hospitalised,” she said.

The FCT Police Command also said that the husband is in their custody as investigation is ongoing.

Confirming the arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, said; “He is now in our custody. The younger brother of the deceased reported the matter and we have commenced an investigation.”

He (Peter Nwachukwu) is in our custody. He was arrested yesterday (Sunday, April 10, 2022) and will face full weight of the law,” she said.

According to Adeh, an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the demise of the singer.
