See How GLO Female Accountant Died In Lekki
A Female Accountant of Glo Telecommunications, Nigeria, Afolake Abiola, committed suicide on May 27, 2022.
The 47 years old lady who drank an insecticide that led to her death was a resident of Lekki, Lagos State.
Although, the name of the pesticide was stated at the time the police visited the scene to evacuate the body.
Reacting to the incident, the Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, Insp Benjamin Hundeyin, said the deceased committed suicide by ingesting a pesticide that led to her death.
Insp Hundeyin started that the remains of the accountant were released to her family on the passionate ground as they wrote to the police, demanding it for burial.
He said, “It’s true, the police were there. She drank pesticides. The family wrote to the police to demand her body, and the body was released on compassionate grounds. She has been buried.
“The whole family came together to request for the body. It’s confirmed that it was suicide; she drank pesticide. The bottle was on the floor,” he said.
