Other items need to conduct an autopsy on Whitney were bone samples and muscle collected from the deceased as well as urine samples.

The Magistrate, however, directed that LASUTH Chief Medical Examiner to provide all the items to the applicant’s pathologist’s laboratory on the day of forensic consultation.

Fajana, who said the autopsy would be conducted under the supervision of LASUTH Chief Medical Examiner, added that the parents of the deceased would also be on ground.

It could be recalled that the father of Whitney Adeniran, who died on February 09, 2023, during the school’s inter-house sports at Agege stadium, Lagos, had taken it to the public, demanding to know the cause of her daughter’s death, alleging that Whitney was hale and hearty.

Meanwhile, they are expected to testify in the case on April 17, 2023, as the State Counsel, Akin George, gave his consent to the application.
