The Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) National Executive Council has congratulated Mrs. Doris Edigbue on her election as the National President of the Ndokwa Daughters and Wives Association.
Edigbue, alongside other executive members, was duly elected during the association’s general meeting held at the Lagos Country Club on August 16, 2025.
In his remarks, the President General of NNU, Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni, charged Ndokwa women to show greater interest in leadership and actively participate in initiatives that would enhance their potentials.
Asugwuni emphasized that women should not place limitations on their aspirations, noting that great women are capable of achieving excellence in leadership.
“As an umbrella body, NNU is committed to supporting women-led initiatives that foster unity, progress, and development in Ndokwa nation. We encourage the newly elected executives to be selfless, dedicated, and accountable in discharging their responsibilities,” Chief Asugwuni stated.
The NNU reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Ndokwa Daughters and Wives Association in driving development and promoting the welfare of Ndokwa women.
