The President General of Utagba-Ogbe Kingdom, Kwale, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Godwin Ifeanyi Edeme, has undertaken a landmark courtesy tour of the six communities that make up the kingdom.
The move championed a unifying step toward peace, progress, and collective development of the sons and daughters of Ndokwa ethnicity.
Chief Edeme’s tour which took place on September 17th, 19th, and 23rd, 2025, was characterized by warm receptions, robust community engagement, and a shared commitment to building a stronger future for the kingdom.
Addressing the people at each occasion, the President General emphasized that the kingdom’s enduring strength lies in its unity and shared values.
He recalled Utagba-Ogbe’s proud history as a beacon of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence, urging the people to uphold the spirit of love, trust, and harmony that once defined the kingdom.
“Peace brings Unity. Unity births Development. Development guarantees a better life for the people,” Edeme said presenting peace, unity, and development as the cornerstones of his vision for the kingdom.
The courtesy tour provided an opportunity for the President General to reconnect directly with the people and rally them behind a common vision of progress.
His message resonated deeply, drawing widespread applause and endorsements across the communities. Leaders and residents alike pledged their full support to walk in partnership with him toward a more prosperous Utagba-Ogbe.
It is, however, the dawn of a new chapter in the history of the kingdom, igniting renewed hope and a stronger spirit of brotherhood among the people; following the believe that the courtesy visit will serve as a foundation for sustainable development, not only in Utagba-Ogbe but also as a model for other parts of Ndokwa West and beyond.
The President General, while reaffirming his commitment, assured that Utagba-Ogbe is destined for greatness and poised to rise to new levels of harmony and prosperity.
