Delta Government Rewards Tanker Driver With Two Million Naira

The Delta State government has rewarded Mr. Ejiro Otarigho, the Tanker Driver who drove the burning tanker to a safe place to explode.

Secretary to the State Government Chief Patrick Ukah presented a letter of commendation, an award plaque and a cheque of Two Million Naira, to Mr. Otarigho today on behalf of the state government.

Recall that the tanker driver, recently displayed heroism and humanity as he drove a burning tanker away to a safe place where it exploded into an inferno  in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area Delta State.

Patrick Ukah commended Mr. Otarigho for his bravery, patriotism, humanity and heroism for averting a major disaster that could have have resulted in the death of many persons and destruction of property in that area.
