Elon Musk To Resign As Twitter CEO
Twitter new owner, Elon Musk, has said that he would relinquish his position as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the platform.
Elon Musk made the disclosure on Tuesday December 21, 2022, on his Twitter page after the result of the poll he conducted on whether to resign from his position as the CEO surfaced.
According to Musk, he would only step down if he has found a successor that would be foolish enough to take the job.

He tweeted; “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”
Twitter’s new executive director had vowed to accept the result of a Twitter poll which portrays 57.5% of users voting yes” to him discontinuing the role.
As the Tesla founder bought the social media site in October, Musk has sacked 50 percent of the workers and had tried to roll out Twitter’s paid-for verification feature before suspending it.
The feature was re-launched recently as he insisted that his prominent reason for obtaining Twitter is to facilitate free speech.
