AFCON 2022: Super Falcons Trash Botswana 2-0

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have defeated Botswana 2-0 at the ongoing Female African Cup of Nations hosted by Morocco.

Ifeoma Onumonu puts Nigeria ahead in the 21st minute of the first half while Christy headed home from the corner three minutes into the second half.

The victory over Botswana has earned the Falcons three points in their second game after it suffered a 2-1defeat by South Africa.

Falcons have to win her next match against Burundi to qualify for round 16 as South Africa tops Group C with six points.

The tournament is hosted by Morocco from July 02, 2022, to July 23, 2022.
