Breaking: Gunmen Kill Three NSCDC Personnel In Imo

Unknown gunmen, on March 27, 2023, attacked Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Imo State, killing three of her personnel in the process.
The ugly incident which took place at the early hours of Monday, occured at EkeIsu market in Obiangwu Community, Ngor Okpala local government area.
It was gathered that the perpetrators ambushed NSCDC personnel who were riding in a vehicle and quickly opened fire on sighting them.

A source who spoke with Africa Investigative Magazine on condition of anonymity accused the police of arresting innocent youths as the perpetrators have disappeared into the thin air.
“Some boys attacked NSCDC officials, and killed about three officers. They hide in the bush, so, as soon as they have sight of NSCDC officers, they opened fire on them.
Confirming, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Henry Okoye, who confirmed the incident, said three NSCDC officers were shot dead at EkeIsu market in Obiangwu Community.
He stated that security operatives had been redeployed into the community to restore normalcy, adding that the lifeless bodies of the victims have been evacuated and deposited in mortuary.
