A famous Nollywood Actor, Pete Edochie, has expressed disappointment over the measures nollywood personnel walked out of marriage.
Edochie who shared his thoughts on the root causes of divorce in the movie industry, attributed it to lack of commitment in marriage.
The famous actor further expressed dismay, seeing that Chioma Chukwuka, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh, and host of others have walked out their respective marriages.
He explained that quite number of marital homes suffered setback because most of the women, including men missed the core values of marriage.
According to him, the foundation of a successful marriage is commitment and understanding, irrespective of the circumstances.
“If you come to our Industry today, most of our ladies who got married some two-three years ago have all left their husbands. I was shocked that Chioma Chukwuka had left her husband, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh.
“You take a vow when you are going to get married for better or worse, not for better or out. You will always think it’s greener on the other side, that is the mistake we all make,” he said in a clip.
Recall that Yul Edochie, the last child Pete Edochie is among the actors facing marital storms, as his first wife, May, recently filed a divorce suit following Yul’s engagement with Judy as a second wife.
