How N150, 000 Donation By Delta Deputy Speaker Tears CONPA Apart
Afimag.com –
An unimaginable crisis has hit the members of the Coalition of Ndokwa Peace Ambassadors (CONPA) over financial misappropriation.
Recall that CONPA had on May 17, 2022, held its 7th anniversary at Ezhionum, Ukwani Local Government Area, Delta State.
It was learned that some of the prominent Ndokwa sons and daughters and beyond made meaningful donations to make CONPA day a reality.
One of the donations that tore the members of the association apart was N150, 000 donated by the Delta State Deputy Speaker and a member representing Ukwani Constituencies, Rt (Hon) Ochor Christopher Ochor.

Uproar ensued when Ine of the female members from Ukwani LGA, (name withheld) was accused of siphoning the money brought by the deputy speaker.
Africa Investigative Magazine learned that the said amount of money was received by one of the CONPA’s male top officials through his bank account.
In an audio clip obtained by AFIMAG, the accused female member revealed a detailed conversation between her and the top member who received the money on behalf of the association.
The recipient in his explanation noted that he secured a loan of N100, 000 with his bank account and that the money was deducted after it was credited to his account.
This explanation raised ‘eyes brows’ as some of the members alleged that he wanted to connive with the CONPA national president to the divert money.
The aggrieved members called for a refund and accountability, saying that CONPA should not become anybody’s money-making machine.
The association has, however, scheduled June 05, 2022, for a meeting to resolve their differences.
