Labour Party Chieftain Attacked For Pasting Campaign Posters
Labour Party Chieftain, Rabiu Ismaila, has been attacked by hoodlums suspected be members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Ismaila was stabbed severally when he was pasting posters of a House of Representatives candidate in Osun State’s Atakunmosa East Local Government Area.
He alleged that PDP thugs unleashed venom on him on November 30, 2022, because he pasted the posters of Labour Party House of Representatives candidate, Kunle Gideon.

“I am still receiving treatments at Wesley Guild hospital, Ilesa after I was hacked by PDP political thugs. The thugs are from Iwara. I was attacked on November 30th by six of those thugs.
“I was attacked because I pasted the posters of Labour Party House of Representatives candidate, Kunle Gideon, popularly known as Aloba. That is my only offence. We are living in fear in that area,” he said.
Reacting, the state party chairman, Comrade Bello Adebayo, called on the State Commissioner of Police, Sunday Faleye, to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators to deter others from taking similar step.
