PDP Debunks News On Wike’s Emergence As Atiku Running Mate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has refuted the news saying that the Rivers State Governor, Barr Nyesom Wike was picked as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, in an interview with Arise News noted that the party was yet to announce Atiku Abubakar’s running mate.

Recall that several reports have on June 14, 2022, said that Wike has emerged as a vice-presidential candidate in the coming election.

Ologunagba stated that the report that Wike had been chosen as the running mate to Atiku should be discarded, saying that the party would announce the running mate to its presidential candidate after the panel constituted to look for a suitable candidate is done with its assignment.
